You finally get to see my face. 

I made this video for a friend who told me today that she’s been cutting and wants to commit suicide. 

This video is also for all of you.

Please note that this is my own genuine emotion and I was not faking any of this. I also did not write this before recording it. I just kind of winged it.

If someone made you feel ugly today, here’s a reminder that you’re so beautiful, maybe not to everyone; but to those who have the right perspective. That’s all that’s important.

If your friends or family made you feel unwanted today, here’s a reminder that they love you. They may not show it all the time, but they love you so fucking much and nothing in their world would be the same without you.

If someone or something made you feel fat today, here’s a reminder that you’re perfect just the way you are. You don’t have to change yourself through bulimia or annorexia. All you have to change is the way you see yourself.

If something happened today that made you want to self harm, whether it’s the first or 100th time, here’s the reminder that you don’t need to. You’re surrounded by people who love you. If you’re addicted to cutting, you don’t need to tonight. Just trust me. You’ll feel so much better tomorrow when you realize you were strong enough to get through the day without harming yourself.

If something happend today that made you want to commit suicide, just remember how devistated everyone would be. Your family and friends would think that they’re the reason. Your death could bring depression upon them. Think of that worthless feeling you have now, you’d almost be passing it on to the people around you. Do yourself and everyone around you a favor. Stick around.

If you had a bad day, or just need a smile, just remember that you’re loved, and it’ll all be better one day. Maybe not tomorrow; maybe not the day after. But one day. One day it’ll all be worth it. You’ll find someone who loves you. You’ll be happy.

Good morning lovelies! 

It’s 5:40 AM in Northwest Montana and I thought I’d give you a little reminder that somebody loves you. <3 

Life is the ugliest thing you will ever go through, but it’s also the most beautiful thing. Wrap your wounds with love and take baby steps forward, dearies. Someone cares. <3

Hello, hello, it is Faith! 

I know that cutting is such a hard to resist temptation. But when you think about the little things in life you could do in place of it? 

To take my mind off of things, I love to play video games. Eternal Darkness for the Gamecube always made my day! Or Zelda. Anything Zelda, oh yes. 

Gardening, playing with your hair, tug-of-war with your dog… Things like that are always nice :) Of course, I suck at gardening, so if you’re not into it, I feel you there. XD

Let’s talk about ways to distract yourself from self-harm and things of the like. 

  • Put warm water on your wrists (or part of your body that you harm). You can even put food coloring in the water if you want to make it look like blood.
  • Scream. 
  • Eat food. 
  • Eat food. 
  • Eat food. 
  • Get hopped up on coffee and watch a stupid film. 
  • Watch Funky Forest. That movie is bound to take your mind off of everything. I promise.
  • Read (DON’T READ ANYTHING SAD THOUGH GUYS D:)
  • Wank (<- My personal favorite right there) 
  • Cuddle shit. Cuddle lots of shit. Like, blankets and stuff. If not people or animals. :D
  • Write kind adjectives on your mirror, or on your arms (or part of your body that you harm).
  • Call someone and talk to them.
  • Play Mortal Kombat or similar game. (My favorites are always the gory and horrific dismemberment games. Stuff with zombies.)
  • Watch Craig Ferguson. He is amazing. 
  • Listen to loud music. Whatever your favorite music genre is. This morning I was headbanging in the kitchen while cooking in my underwear and screaming “GMF!” at the top of my lungs to “No. 666” by The GazettE. Best. Morning. Ever.
  • GO SUNBATHE. I know it sounds stupid, but sunbathing gives you more vitamin D, which helps your cerotonin. Or however it’s spelled. The “feel good” hormone. 
  • Write down all the things you love about yourself. If you can’t think of anything, write all of the things you want to be and chase your dreams. 
  • Eat more food. Because food is amazing. 
  • Scribble on a paper as hard as you can. (Cardboard is preferable because it doesn’t rip as easily.) 
  • Listen to this song.
